Immediate thoughts on provisional future.

(Un)Flexible Past: The Complex Organizations of United Work – the Potential of Obsolete Forms…?
In the overall acceleration, under the impact of information technologies in the society of late capitalism, the remnants of socialist arts clubs seem to be a sort of survived archaic form, initially conceived as a way of the collective organization of workers’ free time, but also a form of self-initiated unification of individual workers in large companies through cultural and artistic activities. In the local historic context of the socialist «complex organizations of united work» (SOUR), the form of these sort of arts clubs was strongly encouraged and one of them actually in the 1980’ started Galerija Miroslav Kraljevic. Let me try to hypothesize how we could pass this, almost ‘surreal’ legacy further? (more…)
